... A person of stature
and honor, he is a Veteran of World War II. He is Potawotomi, of the
Prairie Band. And was honored for helping the Kitsap Indian Center in
Silverdale Washington, in 197 at their 20th Pow-wow celebration for the
Indian Center.
He is a traditional man
and so we had a traditional Pow-wow for him, this means no contesting
for money. He had always been a support to us in his wisdom and
financial helps.
The Kitsap Indian Center
regretfully is no more, because of bickering, and disrespect the glue
that held us all together deteriorated. It is really a shame.
But Bill Moore is a
pleasant memories for me of this time.
